God’s Voice and the Holy Spirit

When he rose from the dead, the Lord did something that He is still doing today; He spoke by the Holy Spirit. Scripture tells us that it was “through the Holy Spirit” that the Lord Jesus “had given commandments to the apostles whom He had chosen” (Acts 1:2).

Breaking Through in Prayer

To break means to cause to come apart by force; to separate in pieces by shattering; to burst and force one’s way through, resulting in splitting a barrier; to interrupt or bring about suspension of an operation.

Assembled For Prayer

If you will read in the last chapters of Matthew and of Luke the commission that Christ gave to His disciples, and, in connection, read the first and second chapters of the book of Acts, you will be prepared to appreciate what I have to say at this time.

We are commanded to be filled with the knowledge of God, for it is knowledge of Him, His person, and His heart that must fill our being.
