God’s Voice and the Holy Spirit

When he rose from the dead, the Lord did something that He is still doing today; He spoke by the Holy Spirit. Scripture tells us that it was “through the Holy Spirit” that the Lord Jesus “had given commandments to the apostles whom He had chosen” (Acts 1:2).

Breaking Through in Prayer

To break means to cause to come apart by force; to separate in pieces by shattering; to burst and force one’s way through, resulting in splitting a barrier; to interrupt or bring about suspension of an operation.

Assembled For Prayer

If you will read in the last chapters of Matthew and of Luke the commission that Christ gave to His disciples, and, in connection, read the first and second chapters of the book of Acts, you will be prepared to appreciate what I have to say at this time.

Are You Grounded in God’s Love

In Mark 12:30 we read, “And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.” To love God with all your heart means with every atom of your being. He wants you to love Him supremely and with everything that is within you.

Praying Through God’s Word

As God’s people, we are commanded to “walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God” (Colossians 1:10). We are commanded to be filled with the knowledge of God, for it is knowledge of Him, His person, and His heart that must fill our being.

Like a Blazing Fire

Before the Lord Jesus came to earth, He, with God the Father, had only an immaterial form. His earthly body of flesh, blood, and bone was given Him when He was born a babe in Bethlehem. And, like you, He grew to be a man.

All Things Work For Good

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28 “Pray always,” Paul wrote in 1 Thessalonians 5:17. Prayer should be part of our daily life…

God Will Supply Your Need

Regardless of the conditions you face, as the world’s economy continues to crumble around you, you do not need to be fearful! Your position is a position of strength and power! God promised that, in the days of famine, you will be satisfied!

A Burden For Souls

Your heavenly Father desires to give you what you hunger for. The Holy Spirit actually “strives” with you. He is actively making plans to fill your life to overflowing. Just look around and you will see a world that desperately needs Jesus.

A True Heart

The preaching of the Gospel always begins with repentance and faith.
Man cannot receive God’s grace by faith if, at the same time, sin is not forsaken.
In the progress of the life of faith, this law is always binding. The “full assurance of faith” cannot be reached without “a true heart,”
